Views of Suzhou from 1985. Nikon FE2 with Tri-X Pan film at 400 ISO (which explains the graininess). It was a rather sleepy town back then, although boats on the canals were numerous and busy. Not too many cars at the time, instead plenty of bycicles. The interplay between water and the build environment has earned Suzhou the nickname 'Venice of the East".
20 year old large paper prints, scanned with an Epson 2400 Photo scanner at 240 DPI; files were converted from TIFF to JPG.
