People encountered along the way; most of these photographs were taken in the 1980s, on my travels through western and south western China (including Tibet). I used Nikon and Leica at the time, and Ilford 100 or 400 ASA b/w film.
The series of images of musicians is the Shanghai Peace Hotel jazz band.
Scanned with an Epson Perfection 2400 as TIF files, postprocessed individually for exposure in Photoshop, then converted to JPG.
